Description
Stainless steel tubular is hollow stainless section — square, rectangular or round — chosen where corrosion resistance and a bright, permanent finish matter: architectural railings, balustrades, food and marine environments, and decorative or hygienic structural work. Stainless needs no paint or galvanizing to resist rust, and its clean appearance is often the finished product itself. It costs more than GI or BI but lasts indefinitely in demanding conditions.
Stainless tubular is supplied in various profiles, sizes and wall thicknesses in standard lengths, and in different stainless grades (such as 304 and 316) suited to different environments — 316 for coastal and marine exposure.
