Description
Welded BI (black iron) pipe is mild-steel pipe formed and welded along a seam, left uncoated with a black finish — the economical, everyday form of black pipe for structural framing, railings, gates, fabrication and welded assemblies. The welded seam handles ordinary structural and low-pressure duty comfortably, and the bare surface welds and paints cleanly, which is exactly what fabricators want.
