Description
Galvanized iron square tube is a zinc-coated hollow steel section with a square cross-section, prized for the clean lines and even strength it brings to railings, gates, frames, posts and architectural fabrication. The square profile is easy to join squarely and looks finished with minimal dressing, while the galvanizing protects it outdoors. It is a mainstay of fabricated fencing, canopies and structural framing that must resist the weather.
GI square tube is supplied in a range of side dimensions and wall gauges in standard lengths. Section size and gauge are selected for the load and the look; a light frame and a load-bearing post call for different specs. See the specifications below for the sizes and gauges available.
