The ASTM A-325 cap screw in hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) finish is a high-strength structural bolt with a thick zinc coating for outdoor and corrosive exposure. It combines full A325 structural strength with the long-term rust protection that exposed steelwork demands — bridges, transmission structures, outdoor frames and coastal projects. Hot-dip galvanizing lays down a far heavier zinc layer than ordinary plating, giving decades of protection in the weather.
