Description

The high-tensile Allen set screw (grub screw) is a headless, fully threaded fastener with an internal hex drive, used to lock a component onto a shaft or to set position — securing pulleys, collars, gears and knobs against rotation or sliding. Because it is headless it sits flush or below the surface, driven entirely by a hex key from one end, with its tip pressing against the shaft. High-tensile construction gives the holding force needed to resist slipping under load.
