Description
Stainless Steel Allen Setscrew — A2-70 (SS304) hex socket (allen) for machinery, tooling, dies and high-strength assembly. Stocked across common sizes and lengths.
The stainless steel Allen set screw (grub screw) is a headless internal-hex fastener with corrosion resistance, used to lock collars, pulleys and components onto shafts in wet, food or marine machinery. Driven flush by a hex key with its tip bearing on the shaft, the stainless grade keeps it rust-free where coated steel would corrode — important in hygienic and marine equipment. It secures position and resists rotation without protruding.
Stainless Allen set screws are supplied in a range of diameters and lengths, in grades such as 304 and 316, with various point types. Grade follows the environment and point type follows the grip required. See the specifications below for sizes.
