Description
V-Bolt — round U-bolt for clamping and mounting pipe, conduit and round stock. Complete with nuts and washers, sized to the pipe.
The V-bolt is a V-shaped clamping bolt, threaded on both legs, used to grip and secure round objects such as poles, pipes and cables where its angled profile seats the object at two contact points. V-bolts are common in electrical and utility work for fixing conductors and hardware to poles and cross-arms, and in fabrication for clamping round members at an angle. The V geometry cradles the object and locks it against a plate or bracket.
V-bolts are supplied in a range of sizes and thread dimensions, in coatings suited to outdoor or utility use, with matching nuts. The V size is matched to the diameter of the object being clamped. See the specifications below for available sizes.
