Description
Round U-Bolt — round U-bolt for clamping and mounting pipe, conduit and round stock. Complete with nuts and washers, sized to the pipe.
The round U-bolt is a U-shaped bolt with a rounded bend, threaded on both legs, made to clamp around round pipe, tube and bar. It wraps the round object and bolts down through a plate or bracket with two nuts, holding pipework, conduit, exhaust and round members securely. The rounded profile matches the curve of the pipe it grips, spreading the clamping load evenly. It is one of the most common pipe-mounting fasteners.
Round U-bolts are supplied sized to specific pipe or tube diameters, in a range of thread sizes and coatings, with matching nuts. Matching the U-bolt to the exact pipe outside diameter is essential for a proper grip. See the specifications below for available sizes.
