Description
Galvanized Iron U Bolt — round U-bolt for clamping and mounting pipe, conduit and round stock. Complete with nuts and washers, sized to the pipe.
The galvanized iron (GI) U-bolt is a zinc-coated U-bolt that resists corrosion for outdoor and damp pipe-mounting and clamping. The galvanizing protects the fastener where a plain black U-bolt would rust — outdoor pipework, fencing, railings and exposed frameworks. It is the practical middle-ground choice for exterior work that does not demand the extreme protection of hot-dip galvanizing or stainless.
GI U-bolts are supplied sized to specific pipe or section dimensions, in a range of thread sizes, with matching galvanized nuts. Matching the U-bolt to the exact diameter or section is essential. Confirm the sizes in the specifications below.
