Description
Stainless steel checkered plate is stainless tread plate with a raised anti-slip pattern, delivering slip resistance together with stainless corrosion resistance and a bright finish — used for flooring, steps and platforms in food, marine, chemical and hygienic environments. Where ordinary checkered plate would rust, stainless keeps its grip and appearance in wet and washdown areas, making it the specified surface for demanding settings.
Stainless checkered plate is supplied in a range of thicknesses and sheet sizes, in grades such as 304 and 316, and is often cut to size. Grade follows the environment, with 316 for the most corrosive conditions. See the specifications below for grades, thicknesses and sizes.
