Description
Aluminum plate is flat aluminium stock used where a strong yet lightweight, corrosion-resistant plate is needed — transport panels, marine components, machine parts, tooling plates and architectural cladding. At roughly a third the weight of steel and immune to rust, aluminium plate is the material of choice for weight-sensitive and outdoor work, and it machines and welds with the right techniques.
Aluminium plate is supplied in a range of thicknesses and sheet sizes, in alloy grades chosen for strength or formability, and is frequently cut to size for a specific part.
