Description
Channel bar (C-channel / U-channel) is a structural steel section shaped like a squared-off C, combining a flat web with two flanges for strong resistance to bending along its length. It is a staple for beams, purlins, frames, machine bases, vehicle bodies and any application needing a load-bearing member that is still easy to bolt or weld into an assembly. The open profile makes it simple to attach to and fabricate with.
Channel bar is supplied in the Philippines in various web depths and thicknesses in standard lengths, sized to the structural load.
