Table shows JIS G3192 sections. Stock can also arrive as Chinese GB or Indian ISMC mill standard, which run roughly 5–10% different for some sizes (e.g. 150×75: JIS 18.6 vs ISMC 16.8 kg/m). Confirm the mill standard on your quote.

Common questions

Channel bar vs C-purlin — what’s the difference?

Channel bar is a thick hot-rolled structural section for beams, columns and base frames. A C-purlin is light-gauge cold-formed GI for roof framing. Different products despite the similar shape.

Which channel standard applies in the Philippines?

Imports are usually JIS G3192 or Chinese GB; Indian ISMC runs lighter on some sizes. The mill standard is confirmed per delivery.

What is channel bar used for?

Beams, columns and purlins of heavier structures, machine bases, and truck or trailer frames.
