Choosing a valve
Match the valve to the duty: gate and ball valves for on-off isolation, globe valves for throttling, check and foot valves to stop backflow and hold pump prime, butterfly valves for large lines and space savings, knife-gate for slurry and thick media. Protect pumps and meters with a Y-strainer, and hold a set downstream pressure with a pressure-reducing valve. Then confirm three things against your drawing — the size, the ends (threaded for small lines, flanged where the valve must come off for service) and the pressure class. Match the body material to the media: brass and bronze for small water lines, cast iron for larger water and general service, stainless for potable, corrosive or high-temperature duty. What is the difference between a gate valve and a ball valve?
Both isolate flow on-off. A gate valve opens gradually and suits larger water and process lines; a ball valve turns a quarter-turn for fast shut-off and suits smaller lines and frequent operation. Tell us the line and duty and we match it.
Which valve do I use for throttling or flow control?
A globe valve is built to throttle and gives fine control without wearing the seat. To hold a set pressure on a water or booster line, use a pressure-reducing valve. Send the duty and we spec it.
Do you supply Y-strainers, foot valves and check valves for pumps?
Yes — Y-strainers to protect pumps and meters, foot valves with strainer for the suction line, and swing or lift check valves to stop backflow. Send the pump and line size and we match them.
Threaded or flanged — which do I need?
Threaded suits small lines and quick connections; flanged suits larger lines and anywhere the valve must come off for service.
Do you supply stainless valves?
Yes — brass, cast iron and stainless depending on the media and pressure.
Can you supply against a valve schedule or mechanical BOQ?
Yes — send the schedule or BOQ with the sizes, ends and classes and we quote it line by line and confirm availability.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes — from Dasmariñas, Cavite. Luzon by scheduled truck; Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao by consolidated sea freight through a forwarder, crated, usually 5 to 10 days port to port.
Ordering, delivery and payment — plain answers
Where do you deliver valves, and how long does it take?
Nationwide from Dasmariñas, Cavite. Cavite: pick up in Dasmariñas, or same-day to next-day local delivery on stock items. Metro Manila, Laguna, Batangas and Rizal: scheduled truck runs, usually next day on stock items. Pampanga, Bulacan and the rest of Central Luzon: next day via NLEX on stock items. Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Davao and Cagayan de Oro: consolidated sea freight through a forwarder, crated, usually 5 to 10 days port to port. By-order and fabricated items: the lead time is confirmed on the quote.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum on stock items — a single piece, a box or a full consignment. Small orders outside Cavite are cheapest when consolidated into one dispatch with the rest of your list. Fabricated and by-order items are quoted per job.
What brands do you stock?
Kitz is the main brand in the valve line, alongside cast iron, brass and stainless valves from other makers. If your specification names a brand, put it on the list and we quote to match.
How does quoting work?
Send the list — sizes, quantities, grade or brand, and the site address — through the Request a Quote button, Messenger, Viber or (046) 851-6935. We quote it back the same working day with availability and the delivery arrangement. Confirm, and dispatch is scheduled. We do not publish prices; every order is quoted.
What are the payment terms?
Terms are stated on the quote. Bank deposit or transfer is the usual method; buyers collecting in Dasmariñas can settle at the office. Project accounts and repeat buyers can ask the sales team about terms when they send their list.
