Description
The galvanized eye bolt is a zinc-coated looped-head bolt that resists corrosion, made for outdoor anchoring, rigging and tie-down points exposed to the weather. The galvanizing protects the eye bolt where a plain one would rust — outdoor structures, marine-adjacent rigging, guy wires and exterior attachment points. As with any eye bolt, correct rating and loading matter where lifting is involved.
Galvanized eye bolts are supplied in a range of diameters and lengths, in plain and shouldered forms, with matching nuts where required. The galvanized finish suits exposed and damp applications. See the specifications below for available sizes and types.
