Description
The turnbuckle is an adjustable tensioning device that lets you tighten or loosen the tension in cables, rods, wire rope and stays by rotating its central body. With two threaded end fittings — one right-hand and one left-hand thread — turning the frame draws the ends together, applying precise tension. Turnbuckles are essential for guy wires, bracing, fencing, rigging and any assembly that must be pulled taut and held.
