Description
The square J-bolt has a squared, angular hook rather than a rounded one, giving it a flat bearing face that seats against square or flat members — useful for anchoring to angle iron, square tube and flat surfaces. Like all J-bolts it is threaded on the straight leg for a nut, and is used for foundation anchoring, tying down and hanging. The square hook is chosen where its flat profile matches the member it grips better than a round hook would.
