The Makita TW009GZ is a short-anvil 1-inch cordless impact wrench powered by the Makita 40 Vmax XGT battery platform. It combines extremely high fastening performance with the portability of a cordless tool, making it suitable for tasks traditionally completed using large pneumatic impact wrenches. The electronic four-stage impact-power selector provides Max, Hard, Medium, and Soft settings. Each setting adjusts the rotational speed, impact rate, and available fastening torque to suit different bolt sizes and materials. The auto-stop system operates in both forward and reverse rotation. Multiple reaction-time settings help the tool stop or slow automatically after detecting changes in impact operation, supporting more controlled fastening and loosening.
