The laser projects both horizontal and vertical red lines, allowing users to create cross-line layouts for alignment of walls, tiles, cabinets, framing, and fixtures.

Designed for jobsite durability, the laser features a rugged over-molded housing capable of withstanding drops of up to 1 meter. The integrated magnetic mounting bracket allows the tool to attach securely to metal tracks or steel structures, while the 1/4"-20 thread mount enables attachment to standard tripods for stable positioning. With an accuracy of ±1/8 inch at 30 feet, the DW088K laser helps ensure precise alignment for interior construction tasks.

When paired with a compatible detector (sold separately), the working range can extend up to approximately 165 feet, making it suitable for larger layout applications.
