Choosing power tools

Match the tool to the duty and the power you have on site — corded for continuous heavy work, cordless for mobility and finishing. On cordless, pick one battery platform and voltage (18V/20V covers most site work) and keep the crew on it so batteries and chargers swap between tools. Size grinders and saws to the material and the cut, use an SDS rotary hammer for concrete rather than a hammer drill on anything sizeable, and run air tools only where you have a compressor to match. Stock the right discs, bits, blades and drivers so the crew is not left waiting mid-job. All tools are branded and carry the manufacturer warranty.
